Busting Excuses : Why you deserve a Boudoir Experience!

Busting Excuses

Excuses stem from fear.

When we get nervous, we make excuses. We make excuses not to love ourselves or take care of ourselves.  The biggest example that I have seen witnessed is when it comes to SELF CARE!

We all have excuses "I'm too busy... The kids need something... "

We even use ourselves as an excuse "I need to lose weight... I can't justify investing that much into myself... etc"

Allow me to share with you all the reasons DO need to do this and help alleviate your fears

I don't have enough time for myself to do this...

You can't give from an empty cup!

I am sure you have heard this before. I am here to tell you it's true!

You have to make the time for self care. Like they tell you on an airplane, make sure you put your own oxygen mask on first before aiding others.

You are no good to anywhere if you are burnt out and exhausted.

Imagine 4-5 hours of YOU time! Sit back relax

Enjoy a mimosa or herbal tea

Having professional makeup application

It's like a day at the spa!

Think of all the energy you’ll save on a daily basis if you stop comparing yourself to others, or stop worrying about what other people will think of how you look. You get to see where your beauty really comes from and this lifts such a huge mental weight.

I’m not where I want to be weight wise or
I don’t fit the media’s idea of a "good enough" size

Did you know that the body type portrayed in advertising as the ideal is possessed naturally by only 5% of North American females? ONLY FIVE PERCENT.

And men - you have just as much struggle with representation if not more today!

WHY are you trying to conform to some misguided perception of beauty when no two humans are alike?

THAT is what is beautiful about the human race!

We are all uniquely beautiful and amazing in our own right!

Celebrate and embrace your own unique qualities.

Everyone will see my Photos?!

Nooooooo - I never ever share without the written consent from my clients.

ALL of the images you see on this website, my social media feeds, etc are all thanks to the generosity of my clients for granting me permission to share them with you. And I'm sending a big virtual HIGH 5 to them for the privilege of sharing the art we created with you all!

This is an investment and spending money
on myself this way is frivolous

Yes, an intimate portrait experience is an investment. An investment into YOU - your self confidence. You deserve to exist in photographs. You have a story that people want to know and creating ART with you as the subject is a great way to help you navigate, explore and tell your story.

We understand that finances can come into play. Sometimes we believe we don’t have any room to indulge on ourselves. However, just like saving for a special night out or a weekend away, a boudoir session is an experience you can also put money aside for.

We do offer in-house pre-payment plans to help you prepare.

xoxo
